World Wednesday

What in the world is World Wednesday?

On Wednesdays we look at a certain part of the world. We get each and every kid involved! Some weeks we bring in special animals. Or watch a video. Maybe we’ll even try a new food. Whatever it is, the kids love learning about new things. It helps keep the week fresh, fun, and new.

  • A kangaroo with a joey in its pouch.

    Australia

Kangaroos, wallabies, and huge spiders! Welcome to Australia. Some animals here are cute and friendly. Others are very dangerous and should be avoided!

  • Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, viewed across the Seine River at sunset.

    France

France is the largest country in Western Europe, with Paris as its capital. It is known for many things, including the Eiffel Tower!

  • A busy street in a small village location in Mexico.

    Mexico

When we learned about Mexico, the kids learned more about tacos, guacamole, and piñatas!

  • Silhouettes of tourists riding camels across the desert with pyramids in the background during sunset.

    Egypt

Camels, pyramids, and a sphinx? One week kids learned a lot about the pyramids in Egypt.

  • Germany

Castles, trains, and cars are just a few of the things we learned about during our Germany week!
